In case any of you missed it, during last night's NASCAR race at Daytona, the 2014 Chevrolet SS pace car caught fire. Brett Bodine had to pull down on the to the apron after radioing in: "Tower, we're on fire." Chevrolet attributed the fire to a "purpose-built auxiliary electrical kit to operate the numerous caution lights during the race." While it is certainly comforting to current and future owners of the V-8 powered sports sedan, it certainly didn't help their rep.
