Default Grr.. how does one remove the OEM bushings from the A-arm pin?

Swapping out my stock A-arm bushings with a Pfadt set, but I can't get the OEM bushing off the pin! Clamped it in a vise (didn't work) and then cut one through to the pin, but it seems to be glued on there! I'm hesitant to apply a torch to the pin/bushing; is there another way that I'm missing?

I used a shop press, most use either a vise, a bolt and a large socket or burn them out

Sonofa...at least one of them was melted/glued onto the a-arm pin! Rubber bushing everywhere now...not looking forward to cleaning these up.

Getting them out of the a-arm was easy, they pushed right out. Getting the rubber off the a-arm pins is another story entirely.

Heat gun and a bench vise will handle all of the bushings with ease. You just need to cut one side of the bushing off, heat and twist/pull and they pop right out. Uppers, lowers, front/back.

Just re-read, you need to save the pins. I did VB&P so didn't have to save that piece…….disregard.

Am I missing something? New pins are supplied with the new bushings. This system works well. I could not find the one that uses the threaded rod and washers, it works the best and is the easiest. JD

What he said, the ones I got for my c5z (a few years ago) included new pins. WTF?

Are they selling a revised kit that reuses the stock pins?

One of the unique features of the pins I got was they are 180deg rotateable for 2 different camber settings. It would be a shame if it's no longer that way.

Something's not right. Press the stock bushings out and find the nearest trash can. The Pfadt bushing kit comes with the pins needed for their bushings.
I have 2 spare sets if anyone needs them.

Find the directions & go thru them. It is a fairly specific install you should follow, otherwise you may not be happy with the result.
