Default C5 Master battery switch

I'm thinking of mounting the battery in the rear of my C5 and would like to see some pictures (if possible) of where people are also mounting their master battery switches- I can't think of anyplace to put one other than on the lip where the license plate it set into the rear bumper.

Additionally- can the fuel and ignition be mounted on independent switches fairly easily (if at all)?

If you put the switch that far back you will need two really long cables as opposed to one because you need to have the alternator cable attached to the always hot side of the switch or to the batt. pos. post. Also, it is always a good idea to use a high amp fuse at the power source with long cables. It's not required, but if the cable ever gets cut the fuse will prevent further damage/danger. That would mean not only a fuse at the battery, but also at the alternator.

You can use only 1 wire to the distribution panel.

While I get that this will kill the motor, fuel, etc, doesn't it still leave a live battery cable to the starter? Most sanctioning bodies require that it kills everything. The 6-pole switches seem to be what's required in order to be sure everything is shut down in an emergency situation. I could probably get through Tech by just killing the Dist panel, but the rule is there for a reason and I'd rather have it done right for my safety and that of the track workers.

Killing the line to the distribution panel works and passes tech.

If it is wired properly the lead to the starter will be dead with the master shut off. I might add that on race only cars I wire the starter so the lead and the solenoid trigger are only hot when the starter relay is triggered.
