Formula One Bahrain - TV Schedule
======================================
Formula One - BAHRAIN Schedule on NBC Sports Network
======================================
NOTE: LIVE COVERAGE OF QUALIFYING WILL BE ON THE CNBC NETWORK.
1. THE TIMES AND DAYS FOR THIS RACE ARE DIFFERENT, SO PAY ATTENTION!
2. THERE ARE TWO SHOWINGS OF THE RACE THIS SUNDAY
3. THERE IS ONE SHOWING OF THE RACE THIS MONDAY
4. THERE ARE TWO SHOWINGS OF QUALIFYING AND ONE SHOWING OF PRACTICE.
5. NOT ALL OF THE BROADCASTS ARE ON NBC SPORTSNET!!!
6. THE *LIVE* QUALIFYING SESSION AT 8:00 AM SATURDAY IS ON CNBC !!!!
7. The PRE-RACE show is scheduled separately.
xxxIf you want to see it you'll need to record it separately!!
The post-race show "F1 Extra" is shown immediately after the race show
whatever time that may be. NBC schedules "F1 Extra" to start 2 hours after
the start of the race but, in reality, it's always shown immediately after the race
irregardless of the clock. The simplest way to make sure you record "F1 Extra" is
simply to add enough extra time to the race broadcast recording to get (a) any
extra time that was needed to record the entire race including any delays, and
(b) "F1 Extra". My standard is to add at least three hours (!) just to make
sure I cover most eventualities.
I pull this info from from my Tivo's schedule. I have no guarantee that
it is correct but it usually is. I also double check it with the NBC Sports
NET schedule.

Anyone who didn't see today's race - you DO want to see it!!! Absolutely wonderful race. Best in years (IMO).
The first reshowing starts in 15 minutes (!) and they are showing it again tomorrow afternoon. See above schedule.

Several authoritative sources have made clear that (a) the new nose played no role in flipping him over and (b) the lower noses were mandated to try to lower the chance of having driver take that thing in the head or have the high points of the old cars actually punch through the chassis into the driver (see Alex Zanardi) which is much higher up the "types of crashes to be concerned about" list.
These are open-wheel cars so the number one cause of "airborne" incidents will likely always be tire-on-tire contact and not body-to-body contact. And that's one of the things that makes open-wheel racing what it is - the potential negative consequences of not being really good at it are far greater than they are in the fender-rubbing world. Only the very good or the very foolish try some of the stuff that we saw in yesterday's race.
