Default Tire pressure help

I need starting (cold) pressures for (real) scrub slicks for my STOCK 04 Z06. Also what to look for in pressure rise. Venue is MSR Cresson.

Thanks,

Will depend slightly on the slicks you are running but I would start around 20 to 22 psi and target around 28 to 30 hot. Slicks need lower air pressure than r comps. 28 to 30 hot worked for me at MSR Cresson on Dunlop scrubs on the 3.1.

I like to have 32 psi hot. That's on Goodyear DOT tires but folks tell me it works for almost all DOT tires. That means I usually start out with 22 psi cold. The best way to figure out the optimum hot tire pressure is to take temperature readings.

btw - The Sprint Cup guys were starting out at 14 psi a few weeks ago when they had big time tire problems. At 14 psi they were stupid fast - for a few laps.
