Default Which tire for C5 B Street now ?

With the new class designations for 2104 and the wear rating restrictions going up to 200 for 2015, what tire(s), that will fit a stock C5, will be at the lower treadwear (200) rating ?? I was running Hankook Ventus V12's and they are worn out and have to be replaced.

As long as you are OK with slightly shorter tires than stock (which is more competitive), the new Hankook (R-S3 version 2) is probably your best bet. The Dunlop ZII is a good choice, but it has been discontinued in preparation for the ZII Star Spec, which has yet to go on sale in the US. Other options would be the BFG Rival and the Yokohama AD08R.

I personally run the old Hankook and will be switching to the new one as soon as feasibly possible.

Is the RS3 version 2 a new compound or just the change from 140 to 200 treadwear. I currently have the 140 version and about 60% remaining.

Compound change.

Per TireRack:
The new updated Racing Carbonblack Silica Compound (RCSC) technology allows the Ventus R-S3 (Version 2) to retain its 200 Treadwear UTQG rating, as well as reach favorable operating temperatures quicker produce more grip in damp/wet conditions.

Hankook was the company that immediately changed their 140 rating to 200 when the SCCA announced the rules changes. There is no difference between the 140 v1 tires and the 200 v1 tires other than the number on the sidewall.

The AD08Rs are 180TW. No word on if Yoko is going to bump them to 200 like Hankook did.
