Default Is 235/45 and 265/40 ok to replace stock size tires ?

I want to buy a set of Hankook RS-3's for My C5 that i am running in B Street class. None of the low wear tires sseem to come in standard Corvete sizes. Is anyone else running RS-3's on standard rims, and if so what size ? It appears to Me that the closest would be down on width and the same aspect ratio. What do others do ?

I'm running 255/40-17 and 285/35-18 RS-3s on my c5z in A street. Those sizes are approved for use on base c5 widths (8.5"f/9.5"r). I would go with the wider option

That size is very common in BS for a corvette running the RS3's. Great street tire, loves hot weather.
