Default Need wheels for A6's....what size

friend of mine gave my some used hoosier a6's, they've got a couple more track days left on em. They are 315/35R17's . unfortunately they didn't come with wheels. would these tires fit in the wheel wells of a '05 C6? also are there wheels off a C5 that these tires would fit and bolt on?? thanks guys

not sure about the C5 wheels but if it's goes to C5Z wheels I am sure they'll fit 345/35ZR18 we used them on my friend C5Z.

The 315/35 tire needs an 11" wide wheel. You might look at the 50mm offset 1996 Grand Sport rear wheel or one of the aftermarket wheels in 17x11 and the 50mm offset.

I used the C5 Grandsport wheels on my C5 to run 315/35/17 tires (including Hoosier A6). Not sure about the fitment on C6 though...

I do not think the 17" wheel (of any kind) will fit the front of a C6, calipers will hit the wheel. 18" will clear OK with C5 offset

I guess a better question would have been would 17s clear the brakes lol. I've got the Z51 option too so larger brakes stock. I couldnt imagine a 11" wide tire fitting up front either

i do my own fitment checks, im sure im the only guy running 17's on the front of a c7 non-z51 for auto-x, track, the c5z06 wheels 17x9.5(295/35/17's) and 18x10.5(315/30/18's) have been with me sence my 2002 cp. when i had a 2008 z51 the 17's rubbed up front, (not the back of the face but the inside top) i had to use the same 18's up front i used in rear. i also dont know of a 17 inch wheel that can handle 315's and not stick out a mile on the front, i used 1991 zr1 wheels 11 inch wide on the rear of the 2002 for wide 17's back then. if you would like to see 17's on a c7 check out my facebook page. david savage, swoyersville pa. the picture is me with my son and it will say works at lion brewery, past job bayo's ice
