Default Trans Am 2014 Mosport

Not much time to comment right now, buts here's the last seven laps of Saturday's Trans Am race at Mosport/Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. I cut a tire and had to work my way back to this point. Enjoy...

That was intense, especially you trying to get around the 04. Thanks for posting

Very nice drive, David. You had me stabbing the non-existent brake pedal under my desk a couple times.

Default Congratulations!

That's two good weekends for you in a row!
Well done.

Do you know what broke on Doug Peterson's car?

Yes, two good weekends in a row. When your crew says, "That was awesome" after a race, things are good. To be in a end-of-race fight for position and come away with the car in one piece and on the "winning" end of te fight is a good thing.

Doug lost a motor.

Here's the start...

That was great, more engaging than most of what I watch on tv (which is a lot).

Loose camera?

Can you put some data on the video next time?

I'm using Replay Mini XD cameras. The mount is attached to the inside of the windshield, and the wind buffets the plexiglass causing the camera to move around.

I'm going to experiment with different mounts, including my helmet.

The mount will help. The other thing you can do with a rolling shutter CMOS camera is to make sure it is shooting 60fps and not 30fps. That minimizes the shake it will capture in every frame.
