Default Advice - Hardbar seat rail install

Hey all - I picked up a used Kirkey seat with Hardbar aluminum seat rails. Sadly, I don't have any of the darn hardware for the rails, and in looking at the install instructions I've found online, Hardbar includes "stud extenders" on which to mount the rails. Well, I don't have 'em, and as my luck would have it, it's looking a lot like Hardbar is...gone.

Does anyone have any ideas? I can't readily think of an alternative to piece together...

Thanks for your help.

You might want to give VetteWorks a call. Gary partnered with them for a variety of projects. I am not sure if this is what you need but it sounds like it is. You would need 4 per seat.

If you have a machine shop nearby they can make some for you. I believe the stock seat stud thread pitch is 10 X 1.5 but double check that. You can make the external threads of the extender whatever pitch you'd like. Take them a picture of one.

Much appreciated, everyone. Any thoughts on using a coupling nut (see link to a random nut below) that is say an inch in length, with a strong washer on top and mounting the rails on top of that?

That means I'd use a bolt to attach the rails instead of a nut.

Knock out the OEM studs and use longer bolts with a stack of washers.

I have M18 stud adapters if you need them that install over the stock floor studs. They're about 1/2" taller than the ones Hardbar has I believe. They are not on the website yet so PM me if you need them.
