Default PF 01's vs. Hawk DTC70/DTC60 combo: Opinions//Help Needed

In short, totaled my HPDE prepped 02 C5z almost 5 years ago...now preparing my 21k mile 99 coupe so I can live again. Most of the work complete but left with a couple decisions. The 99 has a Baer 6S BBK setup and contemplating pad choice before purchase. I ran PF 01's on my C5z and really liked their performance characteristics. The cost of PF 01 pads for the BAER 6s calipers is significantly more than stock C5z calipers and I've read here that many use Hawk DTC70/DTC60 front rear package (I hardly ever see comments regarding Performance Friction). I have never run the Hawks with any caliper so no experience to draw from. The PF 01's are well over $100 more per axle which I will pay as long as the value is there. Please Chime In With You Opinions//Experience, TIA.

Car is now N/A.

Any advice on brake pad compounds?

As alluded to in thread starter...supercharger, 8-rib drive, 8" OD balancer, alky injection system, boost gauge removed.

DRM Oil, tranny and diff coolers, Quantum spindle ducts, DRM brake ducts, Cobra Suzuka seats, Teamtech Rampac harnesses, new cam and lifters installed. 18" R-compound tires and 18" wheels on garage floor.

With Wilwood SL-6 calipers and R-comps, I found the DTC 70 front / 60 rear, too aggressive for my setup. This combination would trigger ABS very easily. I have ordered Cobalt XR2 front, XR3 rear for the next event and am looking for better results.

Subject car is '99 FRC.

Kinda surprised that SL-6 and I'm guessing factory rear calipers are not working with the DTC 70/60 combo. How long have you driven this setup? Seeing that I have 6 piston at 4 corners with same pad shape and size this gives me a moment of pause. The pads for my calipers have more surface area than the stock shaped pads I used the PF 01's on before and also my rotors are 14" front/rear where I had stock size rotors before. Maybe I need to step down a notch or two on my compound(s) choice?? Tires are Hoosier R6 335/30/18 rear and 295/30/18 fronts.

Thanks for Your Input.

I should have stated above, SL-6 on all four corners with 13-5/8" rotors. I also have a DRM master cylinder with proportioning valve.
