Default Were to get lugnuts for a c5z06

Gents the shop that did a track inspection for me rounded some of my lug nuts. I have stock wheels. Were should I get a decent set of lugnuts from that can take the abuse of being used a lot?

I got a set of dorman from autozone and didn't match the others. They seem cheap (they didn't have a cheap price though) and made in China. So now I have two different socket sizes on my car......

I recently purchased Raybestos lug nuts from Rock Auto, part number 9953N. These look like the stock nuts and fit the same socket.

Shipped price was approximately $65 for 20.

Rock Auto has the 2000 through 2002 C5 lug nuts that took the plastic caps. With the caps removed they are rugged as hell and are much better than the ones used on the 2003 and up Vettes. I don't know if they still sell them but they used to sell the longer ones that were used on C4 ZR1s. Same design and will take the same plastic cap but are slightly longer due to the deep inset of the ZR1 wheels. I have been using a set of those tough C5 lugnuts for 14 years now. They have been torqued, hammered on and abused hundreds of times per year. Don't have to worry about ruining the stamped sheet metal caps that are crimped onto the newer lug nuts or having them come off and ending up with an unusual size lug nut.

The only reason I can think that GM went away from those rugged lug nuts is the waxers complained so much about losing the plastic caps.

Here is the Rock Auto Info for the C5 and C4 lug nuts. I don't see the longer one they used to carry.

Well there's a shop that's certainly NOT QUALIFIED to do track inspections.

That was my first thought as I read his post, and second was that they did not do a "nut and bolt" for him!
