Laguna Seca 92 db Noise Limit '08 Z06
Will I have a problem with noise at Laguna Seca? I'm '08 Z06 with ARC headers and Corsa Extreme exhaust Calloway Cold Air. Thanks

Pretty much no way you'll make 92db with headers and aftermarket exhaust.
I have headers with stock Ti mufflers (with cats), and a supercharger. Last time I just made it under at 91db with my modified left hand exhaust deflector. Sorry I don't have better pictures, but it is a big metal tube wrapped in insulation that is open on the left end, away from the sound booth.
Good luck coming up with something, especially something that will stay below 90db.

I swapped out my corsa for stock but the butterfly flaps are open due to missing wires (I think?) that actuate the flaps. Suck a pain in the but I'm thinking of bagging the whole weekend at Laguna Seca

You can take some thick gauge wire and use it to hold the butterfly valves closed. I had it wired to the exhaust hanger and it held tight. They will give you 2 chances to "fix" the problem, but you must do something before they allow you back on the track.
What I would recommend is keeping it in 4th between turns 5&6 then cruze by the shack at 50% throttle. I did that all day w/out getting busted. Then when I was in good shape I did a few full throttle passes until I was black flagged. Once black flagged you can wire the butterfly valves closed and go back to easing past the shack.
Just make sure to practice wiring the valves shut, and bring some gloves because your exhaust will be hot.

If you go stand on the hill above turn 5, you will hear a firing range banging away EVERY DAY from dawn to dark! Somehow they don't have to comply with any noise ordinances (police range?)

If the vacuum hoses are still there, there's a fuse people pull in the pass compartment fuse box to keep the valves open. Maybe the previous owner did it.
