I thought I read somewhere they were using the LS9 ZR1 heads as their starting point...

I'm guessing the LS9 block couldn't hold up to the stress...as the prototype was originally built with one.

Then again...1244 HP is ONLY 2x the output of the LS9!

Oil weight? Or oil oil? I can't believe they'd run generic Penzoil in a motor like that!
