Default subframe nut thread

Anyone know the proper nut thread for the sub frame to the main frame bolt?

Do these need to be oem gm or can I buy a nylock?

Thanks!

Are you sure it is the subframe? I didn't think the C5 had one and that subframes are used with some unibody vehicles.
What parts attache to the subframe?

4 bolts hold the assembly up, same goes for the front. Just not sure what thread the bolt is. I'll have to go shopping at brafasco and find out lol

The "subframe" is the aluminum frame section that holds the engine in the front and rear end in the...rear. Nothing to do with being a unibody or not, they are classified as subframe on any design of car. I guess can call the front one a k-member? But anyways ya...

I have had the sub frame dropped to remove the rack, look up my video about doing the harmonic balancer, maybe I said something about the nuts?

It's called a cradle in the corvette world. I would buy OEM just because it will be hard to find it as it's not just a nut but a hex flange nut.

Needed to throw some non-locking to put the "cradle" up and align it. Then once I have alignment marks I'll buy oem and torque it down for good.

Are you aligning to the frame or front cradle?
