COM @ Watkins glen
I had never ran with COM before, nor had I ever done an event at Watkins Glen. I managed to get my competition license in the first three of my four session's, that would allow me to time trial the second day. Fastest time day one was 2:15 ( with an instructor). I had set a goal of 2:10 for just me and got that and then some, ended up with a 2:07! I also took second in my time trial class. My buddy that hauled my car out was running a GT1 Mustang, he managed a time of 1:56. That was good enough for fastest time of the day!

Congrats. 2:07 is hauling the mail. COM is a great group. I grew up in Mass and started running with them in the late 90s at NHIS. Up until a few years ago I still would run the event at the Glen back when it was April and July but when they moved it to September it doesn't work with our family schedule getting the kids back to school. I haven't been back to The Glen since I bought my C5 so I want to go one of these days to see what it will do.

He was flying I was up in the stands watching his run nice job and congrats. We have run with COM for about 4 years it is a very good group.
I got the right tires in the speedy dry and managed to find the fence between 8 and 9 on Monday broke the inner tie rod off, but the NAPA store in Montour falls was able to get me an inner tie rod for 7:30 am, and I had an outer on the truck so I made first session on Tuesday car was still off a bit but good enough to go 2:09 in a stock motored C5Z my GF went 2:07.6 on Tuesday in a stock motored C5Z

Sadly I left my gopro at home. I do have a cell phone video my buddy got from the turn 9-10 grand stands.
Thanks Bob, I had a blast!
