Default Zip bushing

Anyone use the control arm bushings from Zip? I have more time than money right now and his are very economical, but I also dont want to buy some parts that squeak alot. If worst comes to worst I'll just save up for VB&P since I dd my car as well.

squeeks come from the bushings being dry. keep em lubricated and you should be good to go. Use Energy suspension grease #5 or marine grease. I also like to add graphite powder mixed in...

The biggest concern with any poly bushing is the quality of the poly as some types with literally crumble apart after a few years of use - I had a poly motor mount do just this with another car.

Zip makes good products, but I have never tested their bushings so I cannot give any first hand accounts on them.

good luck!

Yea I was lookin at theirs not only for price, but it also mentioned they are graphite impregnated which I read helps with squeaking over long term. I also gonna look into the energy suspension bushing, specifically the yellows due to them being the highest durometer level per an old thread on here.

I figure if they deteriorate at the price level they are at it really wont kill my wallet.

We sell Prothane and Energy Suspension and they are both made in the USA. You will be fine with either one of them. We use them ourselves and have never had a an issue with a bushing failure. As far as name brand, those two companies also private label, so you could be buying their bushing under a different name.

Since you sell all three, what is the difference? And do you have the stiffness or durometer of your brand bushings?
