DRM Bilstein Group Buy v7.0 (It's back)

I mean when compressed... it was said earlier the rears are shorter than ZO6 and im base model...
so my main concern is ONE component of my suspension being to big a change and not working well as a whole on BASE suspension...
while I lack the ultimate grip of Z51, I am very very happy with the balance and feeling the warning of under and over steer.......I just I don't want to be the guy, who just buys a huge carb, and then finds out it just runs like poo

Swaybars, The factory performance stuff works very well in street cars, and having some fun at the track. The big race stuff works great for track cars and aggressive street driving. The T-1 bars really work good for slicks with plus sizes up front. But for a small street tire I steer people away from them, because they add push to the car.
Shock travel and bumpy roads. They were built for street-auto-x and some track use. The shock body-rod traded some droop travel for the more important bump travel. "stock shocks have enough droop travel to run the baja 1000" said me numerous times. I would suggest them to just about everyone running a stock leaf spring. We have never ran extremely stiff valving because they don't work well (street or on the track). These are a upgrade for road trip cars
Ride height, some people have stated it lowers, some say they raised the car and others say it was the same. Technically shocks shouldn't affect the ride height. But it kind of depends on the condition of your original shocks. The way the leaf is setup in the car it takes some miles before they settle to the ride height they are going to be at. Our shocks and everyone other shock out there will never change it more then the factory adjustment bolts can adjust them.

im hoping to gain some much needed body control over bumps. At high and low speed road changes there are moments of unsettledness and i accept that simply because the oem setup is just so compliant (for what it is) but id give up a bit of that softness for more control which than equates to more confidence as a driver behind the wheel of a car thats pretty damn capable. Cant wait to throw em on and give my take.

HI Randy,
Wondering when the shocks will be ready?
Will we be notified before the final charge of $400 via paypal? I just want to make sure I have money in the account ready to go.
Thanks
Sam

I had to remove some of that quote. Auto correct or my poor English skills got in the way.
Hundreds of happy customers on the street!!! The Bilstein shocks have enough travel to run on the streets.

Melting Slicks
I have the 6.0. They have several autox now and drive back and forth to work every day. Tomorrow they'll get put on the highway and drive from Charleston S.C to Daytona. There is nothing I wouldn't do with them. They were a great value. I've recommended them to several other C5 owners.

On a C5Z what springs do you recommend to match up to these shocks ? OEM good enough or worth the upgrade to something better while its all out ? My application is street driven car which is also my track duty car and some occasional autox .
