No, your brakes get used quite a bit on the transit stages. (Lots of "panic" stops if you know what I mean)

Understood but there's a pretty big difference between street h00ning and track level threshold braking. I've used ST-43's on other applications for club racing but I'm struggling with how well they will (or won't) do with long transits between events (and short events too).
