It is a street car. Danny built that one out of his non-aero spare C5Z that he auto-xed. Instead of laying the radiator forward and ditching the headlights etc. He kept all of that factory. The car has headlights and a horn and everything works. Has a full interior too.

That was a cool event. I'd like to take part in it one day.

Good luck competing against this guy next year!

This guy will likely not compete. These are street cars - part of the event is a cruise for about 30-50 miles thru all sorts of terrain. At SEMA we sat in bumbper to bumper for almost 2 hours getting to the SEMA ignited venue. In Sebring, we practically drove thru the backwoods swamp. Also have to be good at Auto X, Speed Stop etc. Nots just a pretty face on the road course. That being said, if anyone has the goods - come out and play Danny and I will be there.

The owners have every intention of competing. Its what it was built for.

The car that won is indeed a street car. Runs street tires, has license plate, insurance, full interior.

Actually it's a 3k mile z06 with aero, motor and suspension parts on it. Nothing special, anyone could build a copy of it in less than a month.

All good. There are rumours of rule changes as well, so we all might have to make some changes to our chariots..

I looked at that car quite a bit. Very nice build. I even liked the paint stripe on the Hoosier R6's. (they will have to change those to run OUSCI)

FYI If they are looking for a driver I may be available. HaHa..

That's really cool. And like I said, I wasn't speaking about Danny specifically. But the fact that they allow caged cars kind of takes away the street part. Besides that, how many people do you know daily drive a car with full aero

All that being said, it takes man and machine to win.
