Default 2013 NASA ST1 Championship Video - SMS/JDP Motorsports C5 Corvette

I figured I'd share the video on the forum... George did an amazing job driving the car at the 2013 NASA Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park. We ended up taking the championships in ST1 with the SMS/JDP C5 and ST2/TT2 with the Data/JDP Motorsports C5 Corvette at this event. It was a crazy weekend!!

Enjoy!

We're busy getting the cars ready for another season and we're looking forward to National at Luguna Seca this year!

Kind regards,

It has a warmed up LS7 with some tuning tricks to bring it into power to weight without loosing any torque (485 RWHP and 510 RWTQ in ST1 trim) and it weights 3050 with driver. When we open it up for SU it makes 575 RWHP and 515 RWTQ; we're warming it up a little more for the coming season though. The car is a beast and George drives it very well.

Thanks for the info
2900 are the 1310kg with driver, wow that is very lightweight, compliment.

Very nice pictures

I still have to go with a C5 and LS7 but I 1390kg without driver.

Where you do not have soo many pounds found to remove?

It is actually 3050 I believe with driver. The car we support that won NASA ST2/TT2 weights in at 2950 with driver. That car is currently for sale. You can see the info HERE.

George was in the STR1 class in 2013, If I would have been able to run JDP might have had 3 1st places in ST1

Default C5

@JDP Motorsport

Thanks for the link, very interesting
However, I've also been a C5 as a ZR1 for track

We still consider that an ST1 win as he did take Super Touring overall and the reasoning for being relegated to ST1R was lame... I wish you were out there running in your beast though!!!!
