How large a track?

The reason I ask is that the early 12in brakes have cooling issues, even my J55's have boiled the fluid

Of course change all the fluids 1st

Vorshlag Budget TT Build: Project DANGER ZONE

That's our NASA Time Trial TTC build/event thread. If we were doing HPDEs where we didn't have a rulebook, we'd do a few things differently. Though if you want to get out on the track cheaply, this car is a pretty good example. For HDPEs I'd use a wider street tire, like the BFG Rival instead of the fairly narrow Hoosier R7 that we use for competition. I think I'd go with the C5 brakes instead of the '96 C4 brakes.

There are a lot of good photos of this build so far in the gallery.
