Default Gauging interest in a meet at Penske Shocks

I posted in the NE regional forum but I figured this kind of event is geared more toward the guys in this area of the forum.

I'm curious if there would be any interest in a meet at Penske Racing Shocks in Reading, PA this summer.

We would probably give a tour, give a couple shock classes to demonstrate the rebuild process, and answer any setup/shock questions you may have.

Let me know what you think.

Of course but this will probably be a few months away, why wait that long?

Can you talk the guys in Brooklyn, MI into something similar? I'd attend for sure, and probably bring a few friends.

Unfortunately no. They are just a distributor for the Reading factory.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I thought that they did revalving/rebuilds there. I'd be super interested in learning about that, as I have a set of single adjustable Penskes that I'd like to have rebuilt if I get back into serious autocrossing.

They do some but they're not set up like we are. Keep an eye on our website this year. We're making a big push to add tech and how-to info including video demonstrations. All you need is a cheap vice and a few inexpensive tools and you can do rebuilds on your own if you want. Revalving is a little more involved, PM me if you want some ideas on how to handle that without a dyno.

Will do . . . thanks for the offer. Probably won't be 'til later this year, depending upon my plans for 2016.
