Default New Nissan LMP1 car revealed in Super Bowl ad

You get a look at it around :47. It's front-engined like the old Panoz LMP1, but runs on hybrid power, is front wheel drive, and has a reputed 1250 hp available for short stretches when the ERS kicks in.

For all of you that are interested in LeMans Prototypes, one of the most fun sites for analysis and developments is Mulsanne's Corner:

Been analyzing the rumors and lies around this car for a long time now. Can't wait for this year's LM24!

I cannot describe how excited I am about this car. I designed the shocks and hydraulic anti-roll system seen here. Such a cool car with the performance on paper that could dominate. I'm a little worried about what I read on the ratio in time of CFD to wind tunnel usage though.

I liked this article and appreciate Nissan's openness of the design to the world. http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorspo...gt-r-lm-nismo/

Are there no intercoolers on the engine? There is soo much stuff in there I can't tell. Lol

It's going to be interesting to see how this performs.

I'd love to see this or even the Porsche LMP1's do well. It's not that I don't like Audi, but it would sure be nice to see another winner on the podium.
