This is Grants "wife" (girlfriend, actually&#128516. We really enjoyed having you as our instructor last year and would love it if you would consider being our instructor this time.
Looking forward to seeing you in April!!

Ha! My wife calls my Vette "the mistress" - ya'll have this in common.

I am not sure of the instructor assignments yet but I should have time for a ride-along or two during the weekend. Looking forward to it.

You will not "know anyone there" for very long! This is a very friendly bunch and TWS is very conducive to mingling due to the arrangement of the garages and their close proximity to the paddock - you can view the NASCAR front straight while walking among the participant's cars. Stop by the Chin trailer and I will introduce you to the group.

Default Don't be a stranger for long!

This will be our second Chin event. Never felt "left out" for our first one. Stop and say hi to us! We will be in a Silver 02 Z06, #30.
Grant and Marlene😊

How many track events have you run?
Have you ever crashed at a track event?
What kind of brake pads do you have?
What kind of brake fluid do you have?
What kind of slicks, and how old?
What tire pressure do you run?
What are your other mods?
What kind of car?
Do you have a roll bar or cage, and comp harness for both seats?
Where is your head at......are you here to have fun, or to go fast?
THESE are the kinds of questions I will ask if I am gonna be your instructor

4 HPDE days (1 Wet, signed off for solo), ALOT of driver training (police work) on our big track in Louisiana ( 100+ hours)

No crashes
Carbotech xp10 pads
motul fluid
varies on pressure, usually check before and after and asjust accordingly on street tires I have ran in past (typically re-11s)

no cage: seats are coming very soon along with a sharkbar harness. then I will work on more brake if needed.

2008 corvette base model pfadt shocks, swaybars, lowered on stock bolts.

No slicks allowed in the novice or intermediate groups- street tires only. You will learn a lot more with street tires compared to slicks and they are more "forgiving".
