Hey guys, I wanted to give an update on my self-alignment experience.

So I bought some tools, and attempted over the course of 2 days, messing with my alignment and measuring and adjusting.

Since I do have a track day for the next two days, I decided it was smart to have my work checked and corrected.

I chose Les Schwab nearby because I recently bought new tires through them for the vette and they seemed genuinely nice.

So for my first alignment, (and take note of what i started with in my first post). This were the 'before' results.

Camber
Front left: -2.1
Front right: -1.6

Caster
Front Left: 6.4
Front Right: 7.6

Toe out:
Front Left: 0.01"
Front Right: 0.03" (1/32")

Camber
Rear Left: -.8
Rear Right: -1.1

Toe In:
Rear Left: .16"
Rear Right: .14"

Thrust angle: .03º

^that was my results. I dont know if its better or not then what i started with, but it was a learning experience. I thought I shimmed my tires enough for my driveway slope, but i guess not. it angles to the right by about half a degree all across.

After les schwab was done with my car:

Camber
Front left: -1.5
Front right: -1.6

Caster
Front Left: 6.8
Front Right: 7.0

Toe out:
Front Left: 0.03" (1/32")
Front Right: 0.03" (1/32")

Camber
Rear Left: -.9
Rear Right: -.9

Toe In:
Rear Left: .08"
Rear Right: .08"

Thrust angle: .01º

I think their results were much more accurate to what I originally requested. I did ask for a tad more front camber as I kept hearing that 1.3 by pfadt specs were quite conservative.

You definitely need a place level from side to side to get correct alignment settings. Did you drive the car between adjustments and taking the next reading? Jacking the car to get under it to make an adjustment requires driving the car to settle the suspension. Shops with alignment racks bounce and roll the car which lets the suspension settle due to the sliding platforms on the rack.
