I wanted to compare my Z06 and formula with the same tires, same driver, and on the same track. So I took 4 Michelin PSS in 245/40-18 mounted on 4 C6 Z06 front wheels, and ran each car on them.
The Z06's old goodyear f1's were pretty well balanced, some push when neutral, but you could use trail braking to bring the rear around if needed. The New setup is much "pointier" on corner entry, never found any understeer. Surprisingly planted on corner exit considering how small the rear tires are. Trail braking is a fun exercise to say the least.

Doesn't seem like it handles very well to me. My guess is those tires are way too skinny for that car. I track mine with 285 / 305's.
Also, there is no need to downshift to 2nd except for the back straight at Road Atlanta. I leave it in 3rd every where else.

I actually think the car handles better on the skinny tires. No doubt its slower, but it also has better steering feel. I like a car that is a little loose on corner entry, its more fun, and more challenging.
