Default Oil cooler line needs replacing

My oil cooler lines just cracked near the base of where the lines insert into the aluminum block. Does anyone know if there are better aftermarket lines?

Thanks for any info

Get one of the commonly available adapters (katech makes a good one) and use soft lines. That will also remove the bypass.

Soft lines might be an option. I see that Doug Rippie makes a set.

How do you block off the area where the stock oil lines are removed?

I don't have any photos of what I have done in that area, but the adapter will replace the one you currently have. From there you build out the lines going forward to your cooler. -10AN is commonly used on such an application. Larger would be even better, but it's harder to package. With your cooler you may need adapters to convert the fittings to AN.

Yup, thanks for clarifying that for me. My setup is a Setrab or Mocal cooler but it has the same push fittings as the stock cooler but I prefer the AN fitting as I have had those push fitting come off twice already. I will need to get either get the conversion or just a new cooler.

Thanks again for help.

Here is a kit that might work.
