Default C5 Tablet or phone mount for data acquisition

I run SoloStorm for data acquisition and I'm looking to set up a dedicated tablet in my C5. I'd like to find a mount that lets me leave the tablet in place at all times without blocking the center console or any of the HVAC vents, and without intruding on the passenger's space.

I haven't been able to find anything other than this ProClipUSA mount, but it would obscure the center console: http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-...659-13118.cmsv

Curious to see what solutions you all have come up with. Thanks.

I use ram mount suction cup on windshield, it holds really well.

Have you got a photo of your setup? I thought about a suction mount for the window, but I'm not sure if there's a way to mount it such that it's not blocking my vision.

I have the exact Proclip mount you posted the link to and I really like it. It's not as much of a hindrance as it looks. Blocks the dial on the pass side but only for the passenger, driver can still see it fine.

Nice, any idea how it is attached to the interior? Can't really see anything in that picture.

Here are a few quick pics of the proclip mount:

From the drivers angle I like it. Obscures a bit of the climate control from straight on but no one sits in the middle!

Proclip sells extension accessory pieces that can be used to move the phone holder over to the side an inch or so.

I know this is an older post, but I'd like to know what schickane came up with and how do you like it?
