Default Auto-x or HPDE Tracks near denver?

The only posts I can find on this from google are 10+ years old, stating all of the tracks have closed. Yet word of mouth I've heard there's 3 tracks nearby. Hoping the truth is definitely closer to what I've heard, but I dont know where the tracks are or who or what to look for.

Anybody know?

Ah-Ha! Here you are!

I responded in the other thread with info about tracks near Harvest, AL because that's the location in your avatar info.

Read the post I made in the other thread for some info.

You aren't near Barber or the NCM track, but use the clubregistration.net and the motorsportreg.com sites to find tracks and events near you.

There's an outstanding track just east of Denver!! Check out http://highplainsraceway.com/track-i...-and-location/

Motorsports Park Hastings (MPH) in Hastings, NE is not really close. It's about 5.5 hours from Denver. But I recommend making the drive to attend the Harchelroad Corvette weekend there on June 12 & 13. I'll be there, flying in from San Diego. I'm hoping Sid will let me take one of their Corvettes out for at least one session.

There is also this one in Pueblo:
Pueblo Motorsports Park, Pueblo, CO
http://www.pueblomotorsportspark.net/

In July the SCCA Majors Mid-states division is running at both tracks - planning to run one, trying to decide between the two. Both are a long haul from Texas but I figure the weather will be a little cooler than running back home! LOL

Rocky Mountain Solo (scca) runs a very active near national level summer autocross series and just for fun winter series. Often 100-150 cars, 50+ second courses and multiple national winners in attendance. Great group.
http://www.rmsolo.org

As mentioned above, there are tracks at Hastings and Pueblo.
Pikes Peak International Raceway also runs weekend events and track days. PPIR is south of Colorado Springs.

High Plains Raceway is closest to Denver, about 40 miles east off I-70.
Again organized events and track days. Last year they did drags on Friday night.

Local SCCA, NASA and Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing, RMVR.com, are all active groups and fun to race with.

Feel free to contact me,
Hank
