.29* each side is .58* total
.29* is close to an 1/8th but is really 7/64ths or 1/64th short of 1/8th

There is no short answer because that conversion is dependent on the diameter of the tire. A conversion for a 25.5 diameter tire is .25 inches equals .561705 degrees. The web site below is handy for doing the conversions and of course you can get the various tire diameters off Tire Rack or the tire manufacturer's site.

Default Thanks for answers

So if .58 degrees is short of 1/4 inch, how many degrees is 1/4 inch? My tire in the rear is a 315/30/18

Your tires are 25.5 inches in diameter (or close) so 1/4" for you is
.561705 degrees.

Thanks again, now that we are useing tire diameter, when I use my street tires (285/30/20)on alignment day, the number's for 315/30/18's are wrong? If so, what degrees do I need on street tires so when Hoosiers are on I have 28 degrees each side( 56 total tow in)? Yes I'm the one that wanted short answer, sorry!

SOHCAHTOA
converting to total inches from total degrees would be:

tire dia X Tangent(total toe*) = total inches

As long as your alignment shop is using degrees you would use the same measurement (.561705 degrees). If you were using inches you would need more inches (more than the 1/4 inch) to get to the same degree on your larger diameter street tires. You would need .26193 inches total toe to get to the same degree.
