Default Open track day at Calabogie (Canada)

For any of you last minute types, 3 ***** Racing and the Motorsport Club of Ottawa are hosting an open track weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park this coming weekend May 9-10. MCO is hosting the beginner and intermediate groups, and 3 ***** is hosting the expert (open passing) group. MCO is offering instruction in their groups.

For those of you not familiar, Calabogie is located about an hour from Ottawa and is one of the nicest facilities in North America. The track is only a couple of years old. It's 3 miles long, 40' wide, and smooth as glass. They have top notch safety equipment as well. The track was carved out of 5000 acres of Canadian wilderness. The best thing we can say for it, is that we drive from the Detroit area, through Toronto traffic to get there.

If you are interested, you can sign up for the 3 ***** group on the 3ballsracing.com site. The beginner and intermediate groups registration is through motorsportreg.com. Cost for the 3 ***** session is $225USD per day or $400USD for the weekend.

Thanks
Ken
