I am looking to purchase a 18 inch 45-Series Kirkey Deluxe Road Race seat for my C6 GS.

I cannot seem to find a definitive answer if the Kirkey Seat brackets will bolt directly to the floor or will I need a C6 seat braket such as those made by MTI or Arizen? I cannot seem to find hardbar brackets (they are out of business?)

If I need a seat bracket from MTI etc, do I still need the kirkey bracket to attach to it?

Also, I am purchasing a seat brace from IOPort to brace the seat to the my harness bar.

I used a Kirkey intermediate roadrace seat in my 2007 and 2011. Had it mounted on a Harbar (now out of business) and nothing else.

You do not need the kirkey side mounts. Best way to do it is to use the hardbar or one of the copies of the hardbar mounts.

Don't forget that with an aluminum seat you also need a back brace.
