Default White box rotors - who remembers?

Over a year ago I got some inexpensive "white box" blanks that turned out pretty good for street/autox. Never tracked them.

Now I can't figure out who the vendor is & if he's still on the forum.

It was a really long thread with lots of sales.

Maybe "autospecialty" was part of the name.

Anyone remember that?

Brakemotive? I got a couple sets from them, but haven't heard anything in a year.

Probably Brakemotive. I believe that they left the forum but still sell on eBay. I tried tracking them a few years ago and found that they cracked at about twice the rate of quality blank rotors. For the street they're adequate but for the track I won't use them.

Rock auto has some really cheap options, but if you want a known decent alternative get the centric "premium" blanks for a little more money.

Oh, I might know a guy with good quality blanks for not a million bucks. Just sayin'. And he *is* on the forum as a sponsor.

I've had good luck with Raybestos rotors and if you keep an eye on Amazon, every once in a while there will be an ad for these rotors for $11 and change shipped. Normally they are $45-$55 shipped. Here are the part numbers, just type them in the search engine:
Left front: 56701
Right Front: 56700
Left Rear: 56702
Right Rear 56703

Don't know why the rears are different part numbers, they always send a 56702 if you order 56703.

I think this is what NAPA resells, but not sure about that, though the hats are painted black on these as are the the NAPA.
