LG Motorsports On board Mosport Pirelli World Challenge GTS
Hi Guys,
Here is the on board video from the PWC Race a couple of weeks ago from Mosport in Canada.
the race ended badly for me but I am proud of the race through the field. And, no it was not a Corvette. The PWC has legislated the Corvette to be non competitive so we switched this year.
Thanks
Lou Gigliotti

Lou,
I wasn't able to catch the race but your push through the field made the highlights. Shows a lot of potential going forward.
Stopped in your shop a few weeks back and got to see one of the AM racers on the lift. Not too far removed from my street V8V but enough for sure.
Cheers
Dave

Great video, thanks for sharing! Watching it gets me psyched for my next event, Gingerman at the end of June.
Any comment on how the Aston handles compared to the Corvette's you've built / driven?

Nice driving! It seemed like you outbraked and out cornered those guys!
Question: Right before you passed the white car with the red trunk, it seemed like you kissed his rear (I saw his bumper & quarter compress slightly), then you passed him. Right after that it appeared as if you let him back by you. Was that a ruling or something?
Regardless-awesome job & nice video!

I was not sure if they would give me a penalty but considering how much they "love" me, I decided to give the position back.
Thanks for the props. We had much better high speed grip, equal brakes but could only stay with them if I had their draft.
One time, out of turn 5 I missed my exit a little and I lost the draft and the Mustang left me by 4 car lengths.
On the bright side, they could not stop fighting side by side in turn 8, so they allowed me to catch up easily.
Next race - Mid Ohio. See you all there

Lou,
Great video clip. Cars are sure moving around a lot. Was just there this past Wednesday for Canada day lapping, and we were running 1:35's. We thought we were fast, but really slow compared to race cars! I will be studying those lines in your video to try to drop a tenth or two. What happened in the end? I was at the races on the Sunday but did not catch your GTS class one. Sure was some nice machinery in the paddock for the GT class. Big bad Bentleys, McLarens and all that nice stuff.
Any insight as to why the C7 can't be made competitive in the class?

The Corvette was legislated out of the class so the Cadillac would not have to race against it. They added so much weight and restricted it so much, it would not have a level playing field to race in.
that is what GM does. They pick a series and "Claim" it in the name of one car or another, then they do what they can to control the field.
ALMS/Tudor has the GT Lemans class for Corvettes and they don't want any Corvettes in that race.
the World Challenge is claimed by Cadillac and no other GM cars can compete in that category. The Calloway has a GT3 Corvette that could race there but the powers that be have given them the word to not come to the US World Challenge or they might lose their GT3 builder status
IF Caddy goes to Tudor in 16 then the GT3 corvettes will be here in a minute
