DAYTONA October 2-4 track days
Making plans to attend the Daytona event October 2-4 in a couple of months. Bringing my Riley DP and Hubble's Corvette DP along with some really fast Trans Am C7 Corvette's to do some testing. Cheap track time and lots of driving.
Who else is going?
Performance Driving Group is hosting the event.

I'm in - I just registered to instruct for all 3 days!!
Anybody interested in registering, just go to the Performance Driving Group website to sign up. Here's a link to the "Events" page:

You can see there are 6 different boxes for Daytona. You can select the box you need to sign up 1 day on either Oct 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
Or you can sign up for 2 days - either Oct 2-3, or Oct 3-4.
Or you can sign up for all 3 days Oct 2-4.
The PDG event is the best of several going on this fall. PDG will get you four 30 minute sessions per day - 2 hours of seat time each day of the event!!!! Much more than any other HPDE I've driven at Daytona.
And the PDG HPDE is a very relaxed and fun to drive event. So, I hope to c'ya at the track!!

Every run group gets FOUR 30 minute sessions, not THREE.
No police running the event! You don't have to worry about all the red tape and **** attitude.
No tech line either.
Come and have a hassle free weekend
FREE digital pictures. Bring a memory stick.

Night sessions - Woo Hoo!!
That would be VERY CL!!
Butt....I've heard it's very expensive to pay the electric bill for the lights and get all the track workers to hang around for a night session. Howver, maybe they need to test them!

Melting Slicks
I love this event for the opportunity to run with serious race cars which Daytona always attracts. The DP cars will be cool to have there. I'm hoping to bring my Pro Formula Mazda this time. Last time I had a much lesser powered Formula Enterprise car. Got crushed by a 2004 Dallara indy Car!! The speed differential approaching the bus stop was ridiculous and then he disappeared around 3 and 4 very quickly.. 1:46's for him IIRC and that was SLOW for that car!

There are some very interesting race cars registered for the event. Everything from Trans Am cars to Prototypes including some Formula open wheel race cars.
Still have openings and garages.
