Oil temp
When tracking , oil temp goes up 275 +. 09 Z51 A6. Has anyone changed the oilcooler to aftermarket. If so which one did you use? How much did it help.
Thanks Craig

Mine was a custom one I believe. I suppose you could call and order one if you want from 21st Century Muscle in Dallas, TX
I had them install it because of same problem at the track. I was getting up around 295 degrees.
After oil cooler, max I saw was 255 pushing really hard. Does exactly what I needed it to.

The Z06 oil cooler is an easy plug and play upgrade to the Z51 cooler and does help.
This tread has tons of information about fighting hot oil temps in warm climates.

Where you are vented hood helps a ton also.

Why would you upgrade at 275*? Seems like it's doing it's job to me.
My C5 Z06 runs 280 ish at NOLA, no cooler.

275 is where I pull back . If I continued to run hard I would not be comfortable with the higher temp. It's not strickly a track car. Just want to keep it reliable.
Thanks Craig
