Default whats happening to my tire? weird wear

C6z06 with MPSS

these tires have never seen HPDEs, just street driving

this is only happening to the front passenger tire, tires have 25k miles on them

here is a quick pic, the other front tire is normal

haven't seen that exactly but looks like excessive toe-out feathering. when was last aligned and settings?

Looks like typical inside edge wear with a semi track setting toe and camber on a pure street driven car.

Just a bit of toe out will kill tires on the street, and 25k out of a set of tires with a good amount of camber is great.

Pressure may be a bit low also?

I also see dry rot starting to appear in the first inside groove. Those tires, with 25K on them are done...but they look good for that amount of mileage

Seems kind of like chunking, but with feathered edges. Seems like a cheap tire. What brand, model and tread wear rating is it? You will need to go with a softer compound tire. I think tires with a longer milage expectation have the side-affect of chunking like this when they get too hot.

Be happy you got 25k, buy tires.

Definitely get your alignment checked, and agreed with the others that 25k is doing quite well on the MPSS.
