Default Formula One - Singapore - TV Times (US)

Formula One - Singapore - Schedule on NBC Sports Network and CNBC

THINGS ARE DIFFERENT THIS WEEKEND SO HEADS UP

SHOWINGS WILL BE ON NBC SPORTS NET AND ON CNBC!!

Practice is being shown ONE time.

Qualifying will be shown THREE times.

The Race will be shown ONE time.

The post-race show "F1 Extra" is shown immediately after the race
show whatever time that may be. So the simplest way to make sure you
record it is to simply added enough extra time to the race broadcast to
get (a) any extra time that was needed to record the entire race
including any delays, and (b) "F1 Extra".

I pull this info from from my Tivo's schedule. I have no guarantee that
it is correct but it usually is. I double check it with the NBC Sports
NET schedule, too.

CORRECTION -

It appears from DirecTV schedule and several other sources that qualifying is at 8:00AM EST on Saturday, not 9AM . . .

My DVR caught these times automatically for recording on CNBC that day, so I thought I would pass it on...
All other times mentioned above look good.

Thanks to ZOXXO for posting these TV times for us, in any case.

Default Tire Pressure Inspection Defined?

Have y'all heard anything about a clarification of the tire pressure measurement rules?

Crucially teams will be allowed to adjust the pressures if an anomaly is found.

The most important part, to me. It acknowledges that variability can&will occur, and that the teams won't be penalized as long as pressure is corrected.

Thanks for sharing, and have a good one,

Caught qualifying. Ferrari and Red Bull have done their homework. Should make for an exciting rest of the season.

I dunno. Given that it's Singapore I expect that he's in some dark hole with his gonads nailed to the wall. Much like what Bernie will do to the organizers for allowing it to happen.

The DVR did not pick up the early morning quali session, only the night-time replay and that had Q3 edited out. I watched about 1/2 of the race last night and will finish today but wonder what did I miss in Q3 besides the obvious grid shakeup? Usually there is a replay of the fast lap in the pre-race show but this time nothing. Is this something new from Bernie to restrict access, ie. only can watch Q3 if you catch it live? Had this happened one other time earlier in the season.

Holee Crap.............that was a wild one.

Lewis retires due to a clamp on his intake plenum hose..........damn almost as bad as the issue last year in Melbourne.

Same here. I assumed it was incompetence on NBC's part, same sort that replaced the live broadcast with infomercial.
I thought it was just my paranoid, pessimistic nature... but when I heard that NBC had taken over F1 coverage, and SPEED was defunct, I figured it was only a matter of time before things were so F*CKED UP it would be unwatchable.
Great moments in broadcast race coverage:
"well, we're out of time here. but there's only 10 laps left, so we'll switch over to the tidleywinks tournament scheduled next"
"and here we are tied up 0-0 in the bottom of the 14th inning! we'll join that race in progress, as soon as we wrap up the interviews after the conclusion of this most exciting game ever!
Or my personal favorite... ABC cutting away from the Monaco GP for a feature on croquet. And I did not make that up.
