Tips for trailering car with motor out?
Preparing to take car to shop to get motor installed. Motor is currently out. Do I need to support bellhousing while car is in transportr? If so how? Anything else to do for 1 hr trip on trialer? TIA!
Thanks.

Strap her down tightly! When I pulled my chassis home with no motor it bounced around enough that it shifted in the trailer and rubbed against the wheel well of the trailer and tore up the fender and rocker panel.
I strapped it down the same way I have (with a motor) for years with no issue.
My only guess is that the light front end allowed more movement, but that is not based on data.

X2 on the tongue weight. You probably won't get it far enough forward so drive slower.
I need to build a tire rack on my trailer and re weight the tongue with my stock car on it. I think the spoiler pulls the tongue weight off at 70. It pulls fine at 65 but starts to fishtail at 70 so I don't go there. With my Mustang on it I had it set for 500 lbs and could pull it as fast as the truck would haul it.
