Default ARP Crank Pully Bolt #234-2503

Anyone know if this is a one time use bolt?

Stock - one time use
ARP - multiple.

But I always use the old stock bolt to snug the pulley up, then pull it out and torque the ARP to spec.

At Road America we had a driver sheer off the stock crank pulley bolt, ruining his weekend on day one. The ARP bolt seems like inexpensive insurance.

Thanks for the replies.

The ARP bolt seemed to loosen up after a dyno tune and I wondered if I could have it re-torqued. Still do not understand why it loosened up following the pulls... the car had been to 5 + track days prior and there was no issue. (ATI Pulley)

Probably should stake the pulley, I have one without the staked pulley, however, and it holds fine.

Did you install it? It takes a crazy amount of torque, like #250. I could see some installers not torquing enough.
