Default The *Where are the good deals* thread

For C5 and C6 track guys, where are you getting good deals on stuff we burn up the most?

Tires

Brake pads

Brake fluid

ETC.

Please list where, prices etc.

If we get in trouble just PM the info.

I just ordered a set of rear Raybestos ST43(C5) pads from Porterfield for $179

We need a "dark web" for this info...complete with secret hand shakes, special knocks at the door and etc. I used to get the entire set of Raybestos st-43 fot my C5 shapes from you know who for what you just paid for rears until we got "busted by the man"

My info probably isn't that helpful. Stock rotors from Napa, R888/NT-01 tires from Discount Tire, pads from Carbotech Adam on the forum. Brake fluid from my local shop (Performance Speed Tech). Coleman Racing has good pricing on Wilwood H pads. http://www.colemanracing.com/Brake-P...und-P4840.aspx. Thinking about switching over.

I use the high carbon Centric blanks from Rockauto in c6z size. Less than $200 for all four. I am a novice, but after 5 track days no cracks with Carbotech pads I got from Adam.

I have to give Adam at AMP a shout out on the pads. The pads I ordered were not going to be in on time for a weekend, Adam hooked me up and had them to me with time to spare for no extra charge. That's good customer service!

No. Now that the supply of Brembo XLR rotors dried up I think the Centric C6 rotors are probably the best "cheap" rotor for a C5/base C6.

I'm still salty that the Raybestos pads went up at Randall. Between those pads and the Brembo rotors, I had my braking system dialed in. Now once I run out of my stash I'm going to have to find something new.

I e mailed Brembo about the C5/6 blank rotor a month ago, no response. Sucks, those were great rotors for the $.

I called O'Reilly and AutoZone yesterday and they want $79 each for "store brand" rotors.

The Raybestos rotors I tried were OK, not near as good as the Brembo though.
