Anyone? For $400 it doesn't look bad. It appears you can Bluetooth an OBD II dongle into it.

**EDIT**
I just called them, here's the skinny
You can get a real remote for $50, that you turn the camera on/off remotely and record on/off remotely, or you can use your phone.

It also has an available Bluetooth dongle, so it WILL use engine data AND overlay it!! Along with heart rate and whatever else is in there.

It doesn't have track maps, you have to mark start/finish. I talked to him about this, he is looking into it.

It appears the gps refresh rate is 1 hz... pretty much worthless for car/track use. Phone gps is 1 hz as well as my sony action cam. Even some mildly spirited back road driving and it's out to lunch.

Yep, you are correct, I am on the phone now to see if an external GPS can be added.

Any update? Gps looks very smooth in the video above-- maybe its just doing some smoothing after the fact, who knows.
I currently use a Sony action cam (AS100V), TrackAddict phone app, with external obd and GPS BT dongle. The only drawback is I have to sync video to data manually-- Trackaddict has built in wifi start/stop support for Gopro and Garmin stuff apparently.

looks like another interesting option although seems overpriced. Add their OBD device and it's over $500. I would assume it would work with the $20 chinese ELM327.

I purchased this one when they were hitting the market over a month ago. I purchased mainly hoping it would make a good lap timer but was disappointed. Would be good for HDPE or Autox newbie. I ended up buying a lap timer. http://www.thegpsstore.com/Garmin-VI...dle-P4601.aspx
The Good
-Video was great (as good as my Hero 3)
-Sound was really good
-I found it easier to use and confirm recording than GoPro
-Software easy to use
-Good job of defining the track map
-GPS movement was smooth
The Bad
-No track maps pre loaded with start/stop
-Would no recognize new lap every lap
-Speed data was close but would lag
-Software is very limited
-brake and G-force useless
-Takes a long time to combine overlay and video
