According to this you are buying the car from them too so you better double that number and then add some more.

I did find that somewhat strange as well but since it's a "racing series" I can't imagine how they could not have a full cage.

So it's an "arrive and drive" series of 8 race weekends and then at the end you get to keep the car.

It's going to be waaay more than $100k.

Sounds pretty cool deal assuming the car has a cage.

Spring Mountain is a first class facility.

Hopefully they will take the show on the road after the first year.

My guess is 150,000.00

Too cool! No mention of a cage is concerning, to me.

Of course it will have a cage. It's a racecar. Think of the Mustang Challenge cars (which were also raced at Miller) or the original Corvette Challenge cars of 1988-90.

Did anyone note the secondary radiator, and then the line at the bottom of the car mods that states most parts are available from GMPP. I wonder if they are using this series as a testbed for upgrades to the cooling system, and might be applying thise upgrades to the Z06.

I can dream right?

I was thinking 110,000 for the car and 5,000.00 a weekend for the arrive and drive. The owner will be getting a pretty good size bill for every weekend he races.

If it's 300,000 to get started the champion ship is for sale!!!

As a point of reference, a Mustang for Continental Challenge is ~$30k/weekend for arrive and drive.

Do you own the car you are arriving to drive?

In this scenario you do.

It clearly states you will be responsible for maintenance costs.

No transport cost it will be parked in a plastic tent until you come back to the next race.

In most arrive and drive scenarios you are paying for transport, race prep, insurance, and use of a car you do not own.

"maintenance costs" is a pretty vague category... Fresh tires every session?, brakes, nut&bolt, wash&wax, alignment...
Catered lunch? Champagne reception?
Hookers?
Dunno how much all that would add up to, but I suspect that I won't be signing up.

If you have to ask how much the cost of maintenance is- there's a pretty good chance you can't afford it.
