Default Texas World Speedway HPDE vid with data

11-14-15
68-70* (forgot exact temp on this run

2016 Corvette Z51 M7 MSRC. stock tires, xp12/8 pads, Motul Fluid, cooling rings, 15/50 oil.

Sport Mode 1

killed right front pads(maybe nannies) front left still has life, and rears held up pretty good. I was NOT easy on the brakes many 150+ mph turn 1 entry speeds, I did make the brakes fade on a 30+ min session and Im pretty certain Motul 600 fluid boiled.

Coolant: 205* (90/10 mix with water wetter)
Oil Temp: 255* (had a double walled shield and some mcmaster carr material, along with oil lines wrapped)
Trans Temp: 252*

I was running consistent 1:57-1:58's. The following day I slowed a little and tires were falling off (MPSS's are DONE)

Those are some great laps for a virtually stock car on street tires at TWS CCW. Nice job !

Thanks I was impressed myself. Im sure the car helped the nut behind the wheel though. I also got some instructor advice as I always try and do.

Nice run! If this was the Chin event, I was there too running my C6Z. I'd say most of your problems with the brakes can be attributed to running with the nannies on. If the car detects slip, it will pulse the brakes to account for it. In that case, your brakes were probably never getting a rest except for the straights. If you can dial it back and get comfortable with traction control and active handling being off, you should be able to extend your pad life. Hope to see you out there next time!

Thanks. Yeah this was chin and first event with this c7. So I learned a good bit about the car...sometimes it's hard to dial it back when your having fun lol
