Default C5 Brey-Krause harness bar and sliders

I plan on installing a set of brey krause harness bars and a pair of sliders for track use in my c5. I've read that the rear seat mounting studs aren't long enough to mount both a bk harness bar and some seat mounts.

I guess my question is, which sliders and seat mounts won't interfere with the bk harness bar stabilizers that mount to the same rear seat mounting studs?

Some people knock the stock stud out and replace it with a longer stud. Have to make sure the replacement is the same grade as the stock one and the hole in the floor is resealed so moisture can't get into the balsa wood floor.

Here is a post from 2008:

Have you considered the BK C5 Clip in belt mounts? They attach the lap belt and sub belt in the same location with the person sitting on the sub belt. I used to use those on my C5 until I went with the full race seat and had places to mount the belts on the seat mount. My reading of the Schroth Competition Belt instructions indicates this is a permissible way to mount the belts.

Killer idea! Where the heck do you source the bolts, and what would you use to seal them in?

Edit:

And Yes, I will be getting those bk lap belt mounts, but probably getting a different sub mount setup.

Probably momo head containment seats...same on both sides.

How thick are your slider brackets? I was able to mount BK harness bar and Marrad seat brackets on stock studs.

I mounted lap belt eye bolts on the Marrad seat brackets themselves eliminating the need for extra parts. Marrad bracket has provision for sub belts, so I didn't have to worry about that either.

Honestly I haven't tried yet r0nd3L, trying to get everything prepared ahead of time so I don't run into any snags.

Roger that. Anyway, if you are getting additional lap belt mounts, you'll definitely need to extend the studs, so count on that.
