Default Widened wheels?

I originally posted in C6 Z section, but got little response...
Has anyone here used Eric Vaughn Machine widened rims? Posts here referring to Weldcraft, but nothing on Vaughn. Has anyone here used them, and more specifically, has anyone tracked on them? Generic web search has zero failures posted.

They have a much neater build than the Weldcraft. Other than the absurd wait, I'm surprised that they aren't more popular.

I have used both Weldcraft and Vaughn. But, Vaughn only to narrow a set of 11" to 10". Welds were perfect from both sources and I have tracked with both. The wheels you show had to be narrowed or two wheels pieced together as no material was added which results in a much cleaner look.

^ Vaughn machines the inner lip off and leaves a step to register the new section, machines a new inner section from a wheel component vendor (Budnik?), welds inside and outside. Come out pretty nice! I had OE widened to 18x11 and 19x13.

I'm surprised by the lack of response... I thought they'd be a little more popular. Vaughn takes forever to turn these around, but the finished product looks so much nicer than the Weldcraft item.

Really it's never seen. I had 17x9.5" widened to 11.5 and unless you look closely you don't know how it's done.

Weldcraft charged me $200 each years ago to add the 2". How much was Vaughn? I paid $200 each to narrow wheels an inch.

I agree, he takes time as he is very busy doing non-wheel stuff.

For 18" or 19" it's $300.... he was so busy that he shut off new jobs until he catches up.
