Scraping the splitter.
Yes, that's the runoff return in the background and the trees are on the other side of the street. That's the only tree-lined area of the track and just out of the hotel turn.

Some great racing in the GT/Touring group this past weekend at the Sebring Major. Andrew was especially fast in a less than fully maxed out C5 GT-2 Vette.
Saw the Phoenix GT2 Corvette of John Yarosz get drilled by the BMW Z4 at the Hotel Hairpin.
In GT-1 Vince Allegretta ( ex Tony Ave Corvette) won on Saturday catching and passing Simon Gregg in traffic on the last lap.
On Sunday, It appeared Allegretta missed a shift at the start letting Gregg get away in the Derhaag Motorsports Corvette. He did chase Gregg down before succumbing to some sort of mechanical ill.
Randy Kinsland was fast once again, I believe taking the GT-2 honors both days in the CrossRoads Motorsports Corvette. This is the car once raced by Scotty B White and later by Bob Mayer, That car has won a lot of races. Always well prepped by Sam Power.
In all, a pretty good weekend for Corvette.
