Default MPSS awesome but

Just took my first road trip with my new Michelins, 400 freeway miles and they are just great. I didn't realize how old and hard my old tires were. Never going back. I am looking forward to a track day. One small problem, at very slow speed, with the steering wheel turned fully it sounds and feels like somethings rubbing. The car is a c5 vert and tire size is stock. I can't find any rub marks. Could the tires be scrubbing? The noise and feel sounds like a fwd on dry pavement Ina sharp turn. Any body recognize this?

it is the extra grip and the way corvette suspension geometry is designed
the tires are slipping/ gripping in a sharp turn. perfectly normal

I concur. There will be significant difference between your previous (old) tires and the MPSS in on track performance and grip....
I predict you won't beleive where your limits are now

Thanks for the help. I was hoping it wasn't a problem.
