Yes aero is something to take into account for indeed as it can add a bunch of dynamic weight. I have not spec out the additional force requirement on that as of yet. I do know however, that I will not be running a max effort downforce setup.

This was more a discussion on the effects of two similar vehicles (aero wise) and the valving requirements of one with much less static weight but maintaining balance.

Going with DRM Bilsteins may get you in the zip code of where you want to be given the lighter weight but I really really encourage you to get some adjustable shocks. Such an easy way to dial in the feel of the car not just to your specific setup but also your driving style, ambient conditions, track surface, etc.

Definitely makes sense to me, I've run koni SA in the past and always liked adjustability based on spring changes.

Was thinking cost wise to get the car running quicker to order cheaper option, sell when save up a few funds, and get da's.

It is not impossible to do. Our WC Vette's were in the 2600-2700 range before we added in ballast. The GrandAm car was 2680 and the ALMS car was the heaviest around 2800 or so.
